Fior di Luna has a pale straw yellow color with greenish accents. The aroma is refined and delicate with citrus fruits and floral hints of hawthorn and elderflower. On the palate, the wine is fresh and flavourful with a good character on the palate. The aromatic notes on the nose are wonderfully rediscovered in the mouth. A wine that is ideal as an aperitif but also delicious with salads with shellfish and / or crustaceans or with fried white fish with ratatouille.
The name Lvnae is inspired by the city of Luni, an ancient Etruscan and Greek port, dedicated by the Greeks (Luna, for the Romans) to the goddess Selene. The first Luna settlement was founded by the Romans in 177 BC. Lvnae Bosoni's wine production is rooted in the ancient history of this country and its peoples, the Etruscans, Greeks and Romans, from whom it inherited a great wine tradition.
The area of Colli di Luni is the most eastern corner of the region (see photos), located between the Gulf of La Spezia and the Apuan Alps, only 11 km from the sea as the crow flies. This privileged position creates a unique microclimate where the alternating action of the sea and the mountain breeze, depending on whether it is day or night, creates the perfect conditions for the cultivation of vines and the production of excellent wines.
