Founded in 1965 by Maunel Otero, the family has been active in the wine industry since 1902.Now the Bodega is led by Julio Otero.It has 43 hectares of vineyard.The domain is located in the northeast of the province of Zamora around the city of Benavente.Julio Otero is jointly responsible for the upgrade of his region to Vino de Calidad de los Valles de Benavente (IGP) and is aiming for an upgrade to D.O.
