Nero per Semper has a deep garnet red color with violet reflections. In the nose it is an invasion of aromas of red ripe fruit and nutmeg followed by the feeling of grapes, blackberries and plum jam, everything is clean, everything is intact and no odor improperly penetrates the mouth ending with an aroma of cherries, dark chocolate and rhubarb. On the palate it has a unique delight, we find first of all the taste of the grape, cherries, blackberries, berries with a slight arrogance and a final taste of sweetness. A strong balance, the integrity of the fruit comes out nicely. Very light and subtle scent of wood. This wine goes well with many dishes, perhaps adapt it to the availability of the moment: before with cold cuts, or further in the dinner with game dishes, grilled beef or braised lamb or chops. In short, with robust dishes according to your own taste and wallet. It is also perfect for a drink after a meal.
The Rebo grapes come from the moraine hills near Lake Garda, where they enjoy ideal lighting and constant ventilation that ensures perfect ripeness. After manual harvesting, the grapes are dried for 45 to 55 days. Maceration takes 30 days. 50% of the wine is then poured into 20hl oak barrels, where they are aged for 10 to 12 months. Finally, the wine rests in the bottle for another 12 months.
